From the Resene News – issue Autumn 2001 Bright spark - Hunter Design studio and office The studio construction includes a polystyrene and plaster system over a plywood base. The completed substrate was sealed with Resene Sureseal pigmented sealer and topcoated in Resene Sandtex, a lightly textured finish popular for its ability to recreate Mediterranean style effects. Available in a wide range of colours, Resene Sandtex was also used on the solid plaster garage walls in a special blend of Resene Kenyan Copper, and on the stepped wall in Resene Yukon Gold. A final touch of colour was added to the section wall using Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Blue Lagoon. Designer and Painting Contractor: Darren Hunter, Hunter Design Studio

new Hunter Design Studio and Office at 21 Percival Road, Paraparaumu
is a treat. In typical kiwi DIY style, Darren Hunter designed and painted
the building himself. The finished building combines solid plaster and
masonry block construction.
