Mural mania - Kaiapoi Public Library, Freeman's Bay School, Sumner School, Whangarei Primary School
Kaiapoi Public Library is home to native New Zealand bush and birdlife thanks to the artistry of Mark Larsen of Larsen's Art 'n' Signs. Painted in Resene Lumbersider and sealed with Resene Uracryl, the green and brown toned work makes this library a peaceful place for book browsers.

Freeman's Bay School have embraced Maoridom recreating a famous Maui story in mural form.

Tinting the striking palette of Resene East Bay (dark blue), Spanish White (off-white), Chilean Fire (bright orange), Koromiko (light orange), Tia Maria (red orange), Paris Daisy (clean yellow), Pampas (grey white), Catalina Blue (dark blue), Black Marlin (dark black grey), Jet Stream (light blue green) into Resene Lumbersider made the student's application task easier.

Following a basecoat to obliterate the wall, the extensive colour range was applied by students to complete the school's new centrepiece.
