Tailored to suit - Personalised artworks

Artwork tailored to suit your home has been a growing trend, with artists offering to incorporate your chosen colours and styling into a personalised piece of artwork to complement your home’s colour scheme.

Taking that concept one step further and leaping into the business world, Works For Your House offers ‘Works for Business’, using colour psychology and a company’s branding to create art personalised to each business.

Unique designs are hand painted in Resene paint on walls, custom made panels or on canvas. Colour psychology and elements of corporate branding, such as logos, corporate colours, messages and styling, are utilised to invoke an emotional response - while perfectly matching the decor.

Sharron is a graphic designer and illustrator with over 20 years in the industry who decided it was time for a change. She enrolled in the Beaumont Interior Decorating School and launched her tailored artwork range from there.

The art is guaranteed to match and be loved, for any décor be it corporate or residential. And to help others get inspired, one on one, private art workshops for children as young as 18 months through to adults are available.

Inspiration comes from the client! Sharron takes an in depth brief, listens, assimilates and goes back with an instant idea open for discussion. Designs are thumbnailed on the spot and can easily be amended following more discussion. In this way, after a meeting of minds, the perfect solution, style and design shows itself.

Corporate art is a speciality. It involves creating unique, gallery quality artworks which convey the company's logo and/or brand style, and tell an important message about the company. Companies can use colour psychology for a positive emotional response and then share copyright so they can use the art in their marketing. Works can be digital printed on canvas, wall murals, painted onto canvas or works on paper in any style or design. Clients such as Westfield, Remax, Qld Health, Spiritus, Dove Cleaning Services and the Ellerfield Financial Planning Group have enjoyed their customised corporate art.

Sharron uses Resene for artworks on canvas or walls that require a smooth finish. She loves the Resene Multi-finish range and the vibrancy of the colours, and finds the metallics especially beautiful.
